Commissioner Park Won-joo of KIPO, Korea and Director General Khanlasy Keobounphanh of Department of Intellectual Property of Ministry of Science and Technology, Laos signed a Memorandum of Understanding on June 29 on Patent Recognition Program that enables patents issued in Korea to be registered in Laos without further examination. The Program took effect as of July 1 2020.
