The Korean Intellectual Property Office (Commissioner Park Won-joo) and the European Patent Office (President António Campinos) released July 16, 2020 a joint message reaffirming their willingness to cooperate with one another to tackle the challenges raised by COVID-19 and overcome the pandemic crisis facing the world and the innovation community.
Through the joint message, the two Offices emphasized their shared belief that innovation is the key to putting an end to the coronavirus pandemic and rebuilding the global economy and trade, and pronounced they would make stronger commitments to promoting innovation.
